Ex-Brewin Dolphin's Butcher joins Albemarle as consultant

After leaving Neptune earlier in the year

Matt Butcher, previously head of research at Brewin Dolphin, has joined Albemarle Street Partners as an independent consultant.

Butcher (pictured) was head of research at Brewin Dolphin until 2014, before leaving to join Dart Capital and then set up consultancy firm Silverhill. In May 2016, he joined Neptune Investment Management to head up a proposed wealth management division, but the plans were dropped less than a year later, and Butcher left the firm.  Neptune ditches wealth arm plans; Butcher exits He has now joined Albemarle in the role of indepedent consultant, to work alongside managing director Clive Hale and independent consultant Tony Yousefian.
