SJP academy hired 35 grads in May

St James's Place has hired ex-Prudential financial planning director Duncan Gregory as head of business of its adviser academy in Manchester.

Gregory ran the distribution arm of Prudential UK in his three years at the firm when it saw a 50% growth in adviser numbers. He previously held senior financial planning, mortgage and wealth management posts at HSBC, Lloyds, Skipton Building Society and Towry. SJP said Gregory would use his knowledge as a Chartered Financial Planner and experience in business development to "grow and further enhance" its academy in Manchester.
