PFS to consolidate four national conferences into single 'festival'

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has announced it is to consolidate its four annual, national conferences into one major event next year.

The professional body said the change is part of its strategy to "vary its professional development programme to meet the ongoing needs of a broader membership base". Instead of its usual four events spread across the UK, the PFS said plans were underway to host a "festival of personal finance and financial planning" at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on 7 and 8 November 2017. It hopes to attract more than 3,000 delegates and 150 exhibitors.
