Lighthouse wins fire brigade contract

Will be preferred adviser to 43,000 members

National advice firm Lighthouse has secured a deal with the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) to be the preferred adviser to its 43,000 members over the next three years.

Under the agreement FBU members will seek Lighthouse advisers for help on savings, investments, pensions, protection, and mortgages. Founded in 1918, FBU has a membership of 36,000 fire service professionals alongside 7,000 retired members.   Lighthouse chief executive Malcolm Streatfield said: "The Board is delighted that we have secured this partnership with the Fire Brigades Union, a new and exciting engagement for us."
