Old Mutual Wealth hires new team to boost protection sales

Old Mutual Wealth is building a 12-strong protection distribution team to support advisers as the company continues to build out its protection business.

The team will be headed by Paul Roberts, head of protection, and Nigel Jeffries, head of wealth specialists, and the adviser sales centre. The new team is still being put together by Old Mutual Wealth but will be in place by 1 January 2017. The new team will include four protection specialists and six consultants, two of them office-based and four home-based to support the regions.  The new team is part of Old Mutual Wealth's wider growth strategy next year.
