Tilney promotes Robinson to investment management head in London

Relocates from Birmingham office

Tilney, the investment management and financial planning business of the Tilney Bestinvest group, has promoted Miles Robinson, previous head of the Birmingham office, to the role of head of investment management in London.

He will now be responsible for the management and strategic operation of around 40 London-based investment managers in the firm's Mayfair office, reporting to Alan Edwards, head of investment management for England. Robinson (pictured) joined Tilney in 1999 on work experience placement, and over 17 years has covered a number of roles within the company. The group has also promoted Adam Parker, a director at the firm since 2008, to the role of head of Midlands investment management. He has worked closely with Robinson in his position in Birmingham and will also report into Alan Edwards...
