Advisers see bright Brexit future, Pru research suggests

Four-in-ten expecting positive long-term impact

Despite some well-rehearsed fears Britain's decision to leave the European Union (EU) could have adverse consequences, financial advisers remain positive on the outlook for both the UK's economy and their own businesses, according to research from Prudential.

More than half (53%) of the 104 advisers surveyed between 29 June and 7 July expect an increase in the number of clients seeking Brexit-related advice, the research has suggested. Two-fifths (40%) said Brexit will have a positive long-term impact on both the UK economy and the future of their business. A similar proportion (42%) think Brexit will open up specific opportunities for them and the future of their business.
