Chartered financial planning firm Fairstone has agreed to partner with Northern Ireland-based First Financial Management with a view to buying it in the future.

The company has been renamed Fairstone NI and will be fully acquired by the wider group following a few years of integrating its systems and infrastructure. Fairstone NI is already in the process of acquiring its first firm under the partnership model, Portadown-based Carleton Chambers, which will see Brian Vallely joining as partner and financial adviser. Led by Peter Savage and Sean Larkin, Fairstone NI consists of seven advisers and five support staff, servicing 500 clients.
