MAS directory prompts 9,000 to seek out advisers

Over 9,000 people have clicked on an adviser's contact details after using the Money Advice Service's (MAS) adviser directory.

The Retirement Adviser Directory includes over 6,000 advisers from around 3,400 firms. Over 37,000 unique users have used the tool since launch in April, the MAS said. Overall the MAS has again increased the number of times it helped consumers make financial decisions, according to latest figures. The body reported an upswing of 43% in the number of times it helped consumers solve their financial queries compared with last year.
