Seventeen fund groups among first to be given 'elite' rating

Research firm FundCalibre has launched a new ‘elite provider' rating, with 17 funds gaining the title.

The rating applies to fund houses included in the firm's Fund Management Index, which was launched earlier this year. To be eligible, groups must have at least four qualifying actively managed equities funds. The index then ranks them based on their outperformance, with the top quarter of companies awarded the elite rating.
