Beaufort hires distribution manager for expansion drive

Wealth manager the Beaufort group has poached Sanlam head of partnerships Oliver Couchman to head its distribution team.

Couchman will oversee Beaufort's expansion drive by helping to select suitable acquisition targets and bringing in new funds to the group's discretionay fund manager (DFM). Beaufort currently has ten advice firms housing 33 advisers and has plans to grow steadily over the coming years, with targets to take on three to four new firms a year.
