Invesco hires Income Growth Trust adviser in pensions freedom push

Invesco has named Westhouse Securities as the sole financial adviser and broker to its Income Growth Trust.

Westhouse will take up the role from 1 June, a note to the stock exchange said. Invesco’s board said it was “well aware” of the changes currently taking place in the investment world, specifically pension reform which saw over 55s handed unfettered access to their pension pots last month. Invesco said the appointment would widen the reach of the trust to both advised and unadvised clients looking to capitalise on pensions freedom and choice.
