Old Mutual names new group CEO

Old Mutual has named Bruce Hemphill as its next group chief executive.

He will succeed Julian Roberts in the post. Roberts will remain as group chief executive until Hemphill's start date which is likely to be in the fourth quarter, a note to the stock exchange said. Hemphill, currently chief executive of wealth, insurance and non-bank financial services at African-based Standard Bank Group, will be an executive director of the Old Mutual and based in London.
