ABI launches pension freedom awareness campaign

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has launched a campaign to help customers understand their choices in retirement following the government's pension reforms.

‘Your Retirement, Your Choice' will seek to prevent people from rushing into decisions while pointing them to the government's guidance guarantee. It will also make them aware of the danger of pension scams and how to avoid becoming a target. The government has been reforming the pension system over the last year, allowing people greater freedom to structure their retirement income.
