Bellpenny acquires IFA to create SE regional hub

Advice firm Bellpenny has established a south east regional hub after acquiring Essex-based IFA Unizone.

Unizone caters for more than 2,000 active clients with collective assets of some £330m. The IFA's employees, which include more than 20 support staff as well as the advisers, will join Bellpenny, with the business's Coggleshall office retained as the south east hub. The acquisition represents Bellpenny's 22nd purchase since inception two years ago, and follows the buyout of IFA Torquil Clark from Skipton Building Society in August.
