Mutual appoints IFA to board as non-exec

Protection product provider and mutual British Friendly has appointed an independent financial adviser to its board.

The income protection specialist has named Roy McLoughlin, a partner at London-based firm Master Adviser, as a non-executive director. British Friendly chief executive Mark Myers said: "We are delighted to welcome Roy to the board. As a founding member of the Income Protection Task Force and now as a leading supporter of the Seven Families project, he has shown himself to be a passionate supporter of income protection.
