EIS Association launches Diploma for advisers

A Diploma aimed at advisers and covering the tax allowances, mechanics and benefits of enterprise investment schemes (EISs) has been launched by the EIS Association.

The self-study EIS Tolley course covers an introduction to EIS, the relevant taxes and reliefs, EIS funds - including types, fees and charges - and the regulation of EISs. It will require about ten hours of study time, according to the EISA, and, once completed, there will be a 30-question practice exam followed by one full final Diploma exam. The course is available at £335 inclusive of VAT, though there is a £55 discount for groups of ten or more registering together and for EISA members.
