Pound to exit Jupiter after 20 years as Global Energy shuts

Jupiter Asset Management's Derek Pound is to leave after 20 years of service as the group shuts its Global Energy fund, Professional Adviser's sister title Investment Week can reveal.

Pound (pictured), who joined Jupiter in 1995 as part of the UK equities team and began running assets in 1999, also managed the UK portion of Jupiter's Global Managed fund and is co-manager of the Jupiter Primadona Growth trust. "Derek has been a longstanding and valued member of the UK equities team for nearly 20 years and a popular character in the firm.
