Liberty SIPP freezes fees for two years

Liberty SIPP is freezing its annual management charge for two years in a bid to win customers ahead of increased SIPP capital adequacy requirements.

The provider will continue to charge clients £150 a year until at least April 2016. Annual fees are the primary source of revenue for Liberty SIPP. Last year the provider consolidated its proposition into a simple, build-it-yourself product, the Liberty Option SIPP. The Financial Conduct Authority is expected to publish its rules for new capital adequacy requirements for SIPP providers later on this year.
