Advisers share months-long delays as PensionBee’s petition calls for ten-day transfer guarantee

Pension transfers could be completed far faster if providers gave the process “the focus and resources it deserves”, as advisers continue to report delays and client frustration.

Speaking to Professional Adviser, Origo CEO Anthony Rafferty said that most transfers are already completed well within days, but argued that "transferring pensions is not a complicated thing, it's a simple software solution". He said he believes the main challenge lies in "a lack of focus" from some providers rather than any technical limitation.
