Aviva Investors poaches Friends Life CIO

Aviva Investors has hired Mark Versey, chief investment officer at Friends Life, as its new director of client solutions.

Versey will offer outsourced CIO support to the group's clients, including the wider Aviva group, reporting directly to its new CEO Euan Munro. Both Munro and Versey will start their roles in January. An Aviva spokesperson said: "In this new and pivotal role, Mark will work closely with our new CEO to further strengthen our investment proposition, support our internal clients and grow the business externally as we embed our focus on investment solutions that deliver income with low volatility.
