Nine St James' Place funds have been flagged as underperforming their benchmarks in the wealth manager's annual Assessment of Value (AoV) report.
All 42 funds offered by the firm passed the assessment in terms of being rated as 'delivering value to clients', despite nine lagging in pure performance terms. Those falling short included the firm's Asia Pacific, Diversified Assets (FAIF), Emerging Markets Equity, Global Absolute Return, Global Growth, Global Smaller Companies, Global Quality, Japan and North American strategies. The 33 that matched or exceeded benchmarks or investment objectives represented 89% of total assets. The entire Polaris fund of funds range sat within the 33, as did the trio of InRetirement funds. ...
