Lighthouse reports 18% drop in adviser numbers

Network Lighthouse has reported an 18% drop in adviser numbers, which have hit its revenue and profit figures.

For the six months ended 30 June, the loss before tax is £232,000, down from a profit of £59,000. Revenue is at £23.4m, down from £27.1m for the six months to June 2012. However it said the average revenue production per adviser rose by 3% to £80,000. Lighthouse attributed this to the "immense efforts made by all of the group's advisers in dealing with the considerable operational changes and associated technological developments that were required in order to operate within the new landscape introduced by the RDR".
