Close Brothers AM boosts intermediary sales team

Close Brothers Asset Management has appointed two new business development directors, Antony Champion and Mark Sofflet, to its intermediary sales team.

Champion will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with national IFA firms, IFA networks and third party providers. In his previous role, he was head of intermediary sales at HSBC Life where he ran and implemented the insurance strategy for the intermediary market. Sofflet joins Close from Aegon where he was part of the partnership distribution team working with professional advisers across the UK.
