Aviva Investors appoints Misselbrook interim CEO

John Misselbrook has been appointed interim chief executive by Aviva Investors in a bid to improve the company's investment proposition.

Currently a non-executive director on the Aviva Investors board, Misselbrook counts among his skills asset management, investment banking and hedge funds. He spent almost 11 years as Baring Asset Management's director and chief operating officer from April 2001 and was a director for JP Morgan Chinese Investment Trust for a year before joining Aviva Investors. Aviva chief executive Mark Wilson explained how drawing on Misselbrook's experience in a range of senior management and global operation roles would benefit the group.
