Legal & General makes unit trust business part of LGIM

Legal & General (L&G) is to make its unit trust business part of Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) as the group undergoes a restructure.

The changes will also see L&G's annuities business spun out into a separate division, while Mark Gregory, currently CEO of L&G's savings business, will be appointed group chief financial officer with effect from 1 July 2013. John Pollock will assume responsibility for L&G Savings.
