Carbon Financial receives IFP accredited status

Financial planning business Carbon Financial Partners has received a top accolade from the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP).

The Scottish-based group, which has offices in Aberdeen, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh, has been approved as an Accredited Financial Planning Firm. The IFP launched the accreditation in 2011 to identify those firms that wish to be "recognised as leaders" in financial planning. Among the criteria for the status are that applicants have a consistent fee structure across the business, utilise cashflow modelling and use paraplanner support.
