Schroders has added a retail sterling share class to its offshore Global Multi-Asset Income fund, opening it up to retail investors for the first time.
The fund has a one-year track record and has amassed $1bn of assets under management since launch. It is managed by Aymeric Forest and Iain Cunningham, portfolio managers within the multi-asset team. The fund aims to provide sustainable income by investing across a range of asset classes, regions and sectors. It has an objective to pay a distribution of 5% per annum in quarterly or monthly instalments, with an expected 7% total return per annum over a full market cycle.
