Moneygate signs partnership with HNW specialist

Tyneside-based Moneygate Group has purchased a minority stake in and formed a partnership with a high net worth financial planning firm Group Rapport.

Group Rapport, which is based in Surrey, will now trade under Moneygate Group's regulatory platform while broadening its corporate offering. The partnership will see the firms grow a new corporate offering. Group Rapport comprises a four man team headed by chief executive Jeremy Martell - the firm handles funds under influence of more than £75m and turns over more than £1m per annum. Group Rapport was set up in 2007 and specialises in advising corporate clients and high net worth individuals.
