iShares launches ETF toolkit for advisers

Exchange-traded fund (ETF) platform iShares has launched a toolkit to help advisers assess the ETF market.

The tool includes a guide to ETFs, a reference tool to help advisers calculate total costs and evaluate the tax implications of different products. It also includes several documents such as a seven-point ‘Talking ETFs with your clients' guide and a ‘Dispelling common ETF myths' factsheet. Pollyanna Rhodes, head of intermediary sales at iShares UK, said: "There is now much more awareness of the role that asset allocation plays in generating risk-managed returns, which is leading many investors to look at blending index products with active funds in their portfolios."
