Ashcourt Rowan poaches Generali chief to expand fund business

David Palmer has joined Ashcourt Rowan as a business director within the wealth manager's asset management arm.

Reporting to group CEO Jonathan Polin, Palmer will work with David Esfandi, MD of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management, with a focus on developing the funds business and driving the transition to a new operating platform. Palmer joins from Generali, where he was founding CEO of the company's portfolio management division, having previously been head of private clients at Rea Brothers' investment arm.
