Aegon distribution head Patrick Gale exits

Aegon's executive chairman of distribution Patrick Gale has left the business.

The provider confirmed Gale stepped down from his position on 1 January "to pursue other interests". Adrian Grace, chief executive of Aegon UK said: "Over the past three years, Patrick has led the successful transformation of Origen and Positive Solutions and I'd like to thank him for leading both businesses in the run up to RDR and wish him well for the future." Aegon said it would announce his replacement in due course. Gale is a former chief executive of network giant Sesame.
