Novia switches on RDR charging

Novia has switched to its retail distribution review (RDR)-compliant model, effective immediately.

The platform has introduced an ad-hoc adviser charge option, as well as the ability to allow initial and ongoing charges as a percentage or fixed monetary amount. Chief executive Bill Vasilieff said the only obligatory change for the platform to make was the replacement of the word "commission" with "adviser charging" in platform literature. He said: "The changes required for us to meet the stipulations for the RDR was primarily the changing of two words.
