The winners of the Aberdeen UK Platform Awards 2012 were announced at a glittering awards ceremony in London last night.

Hosted by BBC newsreader Kate Silverton, the chosen charity for the night was once again Help for Heroes, with guests urged to dig deep to support injured servicemen and women.
