Skandia sets out unbundled charging structure

Skandia has set out its unbundled charging structure, claiming it will result in a 0.37% platform charge for its typical customer.

The new price structure will launch in December 2012 and will apply to all new business. The tiered charging levels are: First £25,000 0.50% £25,000 to £100,000 0.35% £100,000 to £500,000 0.30% £500,000 to £1m 0.25% £1m+ 0.15 All fund group rebates will be passed in full to the customer in the form of units and there will be a minimum charge £8.33 per month. Meanwhile, Skandia confirmed there will also be an electronic transition process for advisers to move existing clients to the new price structure.
