The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has appointed Bill Sillett as head of retail enforcement, replacing Tom Spender.
Spender has moved to another position within the enforcement team. The division oversees financial crime including corruption and fraud across all types of regulated firms, as well as the mis-selling of investment and insurance products. It also regulates systems and controls as well as senior management issues in large firms. Prior to becoming head of retail enforcement Sillett was a manager within the FSA's retail enforcement team.
