A Guernsey politician has set out proposals to overhaul the QROPS legislation that led them to fall foul of HMRC rules
Gavin St Pier, minister for the States of Guernsey treasury and resources told Guernsey's parliament it was crucial for schemes to remain QROPs compliant as part of a robust pension regime. Speaking to Retirement Planner, St Pier said: "Our hope with the changes we are proposing and work with HMRC is to ensure as many of the existing QROPS schemes can be re-listed by the revenue."
