The number of registered chartered financial planners in the UK has almost doubled from three years ago, and now tops 3,000, figures show.
Financial planning body The Personal Finance Society (PFS) said there were now 3,040 individuals with Chartered status, compared with 1,692 in June 2009 and fewer than 1,000 in 2007. Chief executive of the PFS, Fay Goddard, said: It is a great achievement to now have over 3,000 chartered financial planners among our membership."
