The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has warned investors against dealing with clones of Morgan Stanley and Allianz International.
A company identifying itself as Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc had been targeting UK investors, although its website now appears to be down. Meanwhile, Allianz International Group, a clone of Allianz International Investment Funds, was operating out of Brussels, and its website is also no longer functional. The FSA said both companies were not authorised to carry out regulated activities in the UK, including advising on investments and dealing and arranging deals in investments.
