Marlene Shalton resigns from Bluefin

Marlene Shalton has resigned from Bluefin, IFAonline can reveal.

Certified financial planner Shalton, also president of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP), joined Thinc (now Bluefin) in 2007 after selling her practice, Chambers Morgan James, to the company. It is understood Shalton has a new project which is still in the planning stage. Shalton succeeded Barry Horner, CEO of Paradigm Norton, as president of the IFP in 2010. Her term is due to end later this year.
