ARM investors clash over online 'misinformation'

Two investor groups set up to help recover assets from life settlements provider ARM Asset Backed Securities have clashed over allegations of "misinformation."

The ARM Investors Forum (arminvestors.com), an independent resource set up by investors, has accused the official ARM Steering Group, run by three investors appointed by ARM, of attempting to damage the credibility of the unofficial forum. In an email to bondholders, forum moderators said a letter sent by the Steering Group "clearly misrepresents the position and objectives of the ARM Investors Forum."
