An FSCS Action Group petition, called Day of Action, campaigning on for a fairer Financial Services Compensation Scheme, received 1,421 signatures in total yesterday.

An FSCS Action Group petition, called Day of Action, campaigning on for a fairer Financial Services Compensation Scheme, received 1,421 signatures in total yesterday. The petition asked advisers to put their name, email address and postcode against an open letter calling for a fairer system of levying FSCS fees, before forwarding the letter to financial secretary to the treasury Mark Hoban (pictured). The campaign called for better categorisation of firms within the FSCS funding model and a push to heighten awareness of the scheme amongst clients - as ultimately they pay for it.  M...
