Last year's Aberdeen UK Platform Awards dinner raised more than £22,000 for the Help for Heroes charity, organiser CWC Research has announced.
The annual awards dinner, held on 29 September and hosted by BBC newsreader Kate Silverton, raised £22,710 for Help for Heroes. Some 400 people attending the event contributed £7,570. The sum was matched by lead sponsor Aberdeen Asset Management. Help for Heroes is a charity formed to help men and women injured when serving in the UK armed forces.
