FundsNetwork steals march on rivals to list ITs this year

Fidelity FundsNetwork has become the first of the fund supermarkets to confirm it will offer investment trusts ahead of RDR.

Beating rivals Cofunds and Skandia to the punch, Fidelity said plans are under way to list investment trusts on its FundsNetwork platform this year. Fidelity will begin making closed-ended vehicles available from November, Investment Week, IFAonline's sister title, understands.  The group is expected to offer the most popular and liquid trusts initially, with a view to expanding the number available at a later date.
