Ellipse ties-up bereavement charity deal

Ellipse has agreed a deal with a children's bereavement charity to provide counselling services for all group life claimants.

The group risk insurer will make a donation to Winston's Wish for every death claim handled and pass on details of its national helpline service to all claimants through scheme trustees. Ellipse is also sponsoring the Winston's Wish national programme of support for children bereaved through suicide. A quarter of the calls received by the charity are suicide death related as bereavements following suicide can present additional pressures and pain.
