Nucleus IFAs turn to bond funds

Nucleus IFAs have turned their backs on equities in preference for bond funds amid recent market volatility.

Dimensional Global Short Bond Fund, managed by Garrett Quigley, was the fastest growing fund and most popular holding on the IFA-owned platform over the third quarter, knocking Legal & General Index-Linked Gilt Index off top spot. In addition to bond funds , low-cost index funds proved popular in the quarter, with Vanguard FTSE UK Equity Index and HSBC FTSE 100 Index Fund both featuring in the top ten fastest growing funds.
