Update: 2plan awarded £87k in successful case against IFAs

IFA 2plan has been awarded £87,000 after winning a High Court battle against two advisers.

2plan had pursued a claim against husband and wife Peter and Adele Trotman, formerly of Source Financial. According to 2plan, Source and the Trotmans failed to comply with contractual obligations following 2plan's acquisition of Source's IFA business in 2009. 2plan had faced a £500,000 counterclaim from Peter Trotman alleging fraudulent misrepresentation.
