FNZ to build multi-channel platform for Close

Software provider FNZ is building a multi-channel platform offering for Close Asset Management, including direct to consumer and retail-advised arms.

Both the retail and advised offerings will be integrated in a phased launch later this year. "We are looking to develop a strong, self-directed investment proposition to sit side-by-side with our existing advisory proposition," said Close head of wealth management Steven Mendel. He added the tie-up with FNZ will also support any future acquisitions. FNZ group CEO Adrian Durham said the industry is heading in the direction of multi-channel offerings, with future platform propositions likely to be increasingly integrated rather than run as separate businesses.
