Rambourg seeks employment after being cleared by FSA

Former Gartmore star Guillaume Rambourg is looking for another role in fund management following the FSA's decision to not take any formal action over his conduct at the group.

Rambourg has announced he will not face disciplinary action following the investigation into his trading, which led to his resignation from the firm. He was suspended when the investigation began but later re-instated as an analyst before resigning in July 2010. The former manager of the Gartmore Continental European fund is now perusing opportunities within fund management. His statement says: "I am pleased that the FSA investigation resulted in no formal action and that I can now put the events of the past year behind me. I look forward to embarking on the next chapter of my care...
