Brett Williams eyeing industry comeback

Former Cofunds CEO Brett Williams says he is eyeing a move back into the industry, but may not necessarily re-enter the platform fold.

Speaking to IFAonline, Williams (pictured) says he is talking to various parties and weighing up his options following his controversial departure from Cofunds last year, but has not decided upon anything yet. "I am just biding my time," he says. "I have had lots of interesting conversations with lots of interesting people but I am not in a position to make a decision yet." He says his return to the industry might not necessarily be in the platform realm and speculation linking him with a move to Barclays is mere "rumour".
